Title: A novel approach to adaptive bumps on test case Kap.
Speaker: Anyone who wears shoes. Anyone who can give bumps.
Time: 11:00 PM – … , 11th Feb, 2006 Venue: Opposite Library.

Brief Outline:

If there was one thing methusela hated, it was his birthday bumps.

Bumps are the tradition of Ireland. The birthday child is lifted upside down and “bumped” on the floor for good luck. The number of bumps given is the age of the child plus one for extra good luck.Luck is proportional to the intensity of hits and also the frequency. In order to optimise luck, we sometimes resort to other means of giving bumps, which range from sticks to what not.

The renowned speaker for today’s night has received his Diploma in Bump Science at the Buttland University, Ireland in 2001. Since 2002 he is a PhD student in the group of Prof. Dr. Andrew Tussey at the University of Booty, Germany. He has worked in a number of industrial projects with a tight connection to research. His main areas of interest are giving bumps, ensuring that luck maximises.
